Reading a book
A flash of colour crosses my eyes
Turning my head into its direction
I walk towards it
Pick it up
Turn it around
And read
But of course, never judge a book by its cover
I start to read
Turning page after page
Smiling when needed to smile
Frowning when needed to frown
There are moments
When
You
Slow
~~
When
It Makes
You Yawn
~~
There are moments when the thrill overtakes you
When you are reading so fast your eyes start to hurt
When your are reading so fast the words are flying everywhere
When you
Can’t
Process
Anything.
There are times when you go back
When you read it again
make sure it really happens
And when it does really happen
A slow sly grin slips through your lips
But then the grin
slips away as slowly as it came
You cry
And you laugh
At the same time
Decide what emotion
Would make the most sense
But you can’t decide
And both emotions cross your expression
But of course
Every story has
A happy ending
